Romanian - 30
Alex began his career in 1997 at the Romanian Maritime Academy working in the shipyard, then as a deckhand aboard Passenger ships cruising the Mediterranean & Caribbean . After graduation in 2002 he continued training as an officer sailing extensively worldwide . In 2007 he turned his attention to Private Yachting and began his career aboard the 57 metre Lady K II cruising the Mediterranean . In November 2007 he joined Illusion as Chief Officer, Alex holds an unlimited Officer of the Watch Certificate.

2nd Officer: Jeremy Brice
British - 32
Jeremy has been involved in luxury yachting since Oct 2004, he holds an RYA Yacht master Offshore certificate and has gained a wealth of experience cruising in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Indian Oceans. This is his first season on board Illusion.

Bosun: Conrad Constantino
Philipino - 49
Conrad began his yachting career on board the 344' Lady Moura working as deckhand for one year before joining Illusion under her previous name of 'Pilar'. Conrad has progressed to the rank of Bosun and so far has completed 16 years service on board Illusion cruising worldwide.

Deckhand: Paul Williams
British - 30
Paul is a relative newcomer to yachting, he is friendly and enthusiastic and his hobbies include Rock Climbing & water sports, he has just completed his first year on board Illusion.

Chef : Kawana Kingi
New Zealand - 45
With an extensive culinary background stemming from New Zealand, Aotearoa, land of the long white cloud, Kawana Kingi is the ambassador of cooking. As well as being a restaurateur, Kawanas culinary talents have led him to yachting. For the past six years Kawanas yachting background has affording him the flexibility of tapping into all styles, flavors and infusions of products, allowing him a greater scope to explore his passion. On top of his innate artistic abilities, Kawana enjoys the open air and looks forward to appeasing your taste buds..

Sous Chef: Ross Rochelle
British - 24
At the age of 24 Ross is the youngest member of the Illusion team, he 'stems' from England, and is therefore glad to be travelling toward new horizons and warmer climates. Ross's background is rooted in the UK restaurant scene, working as Chef de Partie in some of London's top inner city restaurants. He studied at the University of Birmingham for two years and during his short career Ross managed to be placed first in the 2006 regional young chef or the year awards, which helped him secure a position as assistant junior Sous Chef in a fine establishment in London known as Limes.

Chief Engineer - Eddie Manners
British - 48
Eddie joined the Royal Navy at seventeen and completed 22 years service. He studied mechanical and electrical marine engineering. He served his entire RN career on Fast Patrol craft and mine sweepers specializing as an, internal combustion engine and RIB maintainer. After leaving the RN Eddie became a truck driver and after some time. The lure of the sea became too great to ignore and returned to engineering in the yachting industry in 2005.

2nd Engineer: Diego Varron
Philipino - 45
Diego studied Marine Engineering at Cebu Central College in the Philippines, where he successfully obtained his engineering degree. He served as an apprentice on passenger ships for two years before moving onto cargo vessels for a further six years. At 29 he moved into the yachting industry where during the last 11 years he has worked on such vessels as the 65 meter Esmerelda, MY Louisiana, and so far has spent seven years on board Illusion.

Chief Stewardess: Karma Butler
New Zealand - 31
Karma traveled to UK in 1996, initially working as a Nanny and then moving on to the position of Manager in a busy bar & restaurant, while studying hospitality and catering. Prior to joining Illusion, she completed a busy Mediterranean season on board a 65 meter motor yacht and so far on Illusion has cruised both Mediterranean & Caribbean. She is an outgoing person and relates well to people of all ages. Karma has been providing Illusion guests with impeccable service for 5 years.

2nd Stewardess: Julia Timmins
Canadian - 26
Coming from a Canadian background and having studied law, Julia craves the outdoors. With her keen interest in travel, adventure and people working on yachts for the past three years has been great. With continuing plans to remain in yachting, Julia looks forward to meeting you and wishes you a memorable and safe journey aboard Motor Yacht Illusion.

Stewardess: Sophie McDonald
Australian - 29
Having spent 8 years working on yachts in Australia, Sophie has finally stepped into international waters and enjoying seeing new places and experiencing the super yacht industry...She has a love of nature and children and enjoys meeting all our guests on board motor yacht Illusion...

Stewardess: Christy McDonald
Australian - 29
Christy loves fishing, boating, diving and simply the ocean. Having sailed half way the world round on a small sailboat Christy finds herself in yachting to fullfill her adventurous need to meet interesting people as well as travel. Christy has only been in yachting a short time but finds herself confident and ready for the next fun season on board Illusion . On top of her extensive yoga experience she loves studying and practicing Ayurveda health therapies and traditional forms of body rejuvenation.
